Overview

The UK Intellectual Property Office’s Knowledge Asset Management Hub is a collection of practical tools and resources that help university leaders, researchers and practitioners identify, protect and unlock the value of their intellectual property and wider knowledge assets, helping to drive innovation, collaboration, and growth across the UK economy.

Your participation

Participation in the survey is voluntary. Choosing to take part indicates that you are happy for your responses to be used for the purposes of developing the Knowledge Asset Management Hub and its resources.

Lawful basis for data processing

We are collecting information including your role to gain awareness across the research sector. Although we do not ask for your name or personal details, individual responses are potentially identifiable. For this reason, the UK IPO is lawfully processing your data under the legitimate interests basis (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), specifically the shared legitimate interest of the UK IPO and respondents in developing the Knowledge Asset Management Hub. The GOV.UK privacy notice covers personal data processed under consent or contract. 

Confidentiality and data protection

Your personal information will be handled securely in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act. Please do not include any names, contact information, or other personal data in free-text responses.
